Routrek Networks Inc’s CEO says water shortages are the biggest problem for agriculture across the globe and in 2030 water supplies are forecasted 39% short of demand.

In order to overcome this issue, AI farming technology has been developed in Japan. The technology is based on automation, robots, and drones and helps in real-time monitoring, harvesting, processing, and marketing.
Skilled and experienced farmers can use water and fertilizers more precisely. Utilizing AI to collect and analyze data from the farmer’s fields and surroundings will also help unskilled and non-experienced farmers to use this advanced technique. By this, the production and productivity of agriculture will definitely increase even in the areas with less access to water like Sindh in Pakistan. This kind of technology associated with AI is expected to bring a drastic change in the future of sustainable farming.
